At BirdsMalta.com™, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction. Please review our policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Returns Eligibility

Returns must be made within 14 days of delivery.

Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition you received them.

Proof of purchase is required.
2. Non-Returnable Items

Pet food products — non-returnable for hygiene and safety reasons.

Pet supplements — non-returnable for hygiene and safety reasons.

Pet hygiene products — non-returnable for hygiene and safety reasons.

Avian DNA testing services — results are accurate and non-refundable.

Electronic equipment (such as electronic toys, heating or UV reptile & bird lamps, and fixtures) — tested before dispatch; returns are only accepted for warranty-covered manufacturer faults.

Exclusion: Heat Bulbs and UV Lamps are strictly excluded from any warranty. These are delicate, consumable items, and we cannot be held responsible for damage caused by external electrical connections, power surges, or improper handling.
3. Refund Process

Returns are inspected upon receipt.

Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.

Refunds are issued to your original payment method.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Returns must be delivered to our shop location at the customer’s expense.
4. Damaged in Transit
Items are only eligible for a damage-related return in the rare event that they sustain damage during transit. To initiate a claim, you must provide clear video and photographic evidence of both the damaged item and the original packaging. This evidence must be sent to returns@birdsmalta.com within 12 hours of receiving your order.
Upon verification of the evidence, we will determine whether to issue a direct refund or require the physical return of the item. Should a return be necessary, the shipping costs must initially be covered by the customer. These costs will be fully credited back to you once we have verified the return shipping receipt and the associated tracking number.
