SOL-7000 is for compatible mains lamps. SOL-LED and SOL-LED Plus use a separate stabilised DC power supply matched to the 12V or 24V LED system.
PRO LED bars use a four-wire connection and include a blue night-light channel. Standard bars use two wires for white light.
Follow the manufacturer’s limits for the complete installation. Mains wiring must be completed by a qualified person.

How long will a pre-order take?
Usually around one week from ordering. This is an estimate and depends on supplier availability and the configuration ordered.
Are replacement parts in local stock?
For now, only controllers are available to order. Lighting, replacement parts and accessories will be added when the updated range is ready.
Where can I read the English manuals?
Each product page links to its English manufacturer manual or the relevant system guide. SOL-7000, SOL-LED and SOL-LED Plus manuals are available online.
Is the power supply included?
SOL-LED and SOL-LED Plus require a separate compatible power supply. SOL-7000 includes its mains power cable and output connectors. Check each listing for the components included.
Which LED lights can I use?
SOL-LED and SOL-LED Plus can gradually dim matching LED bars. SOL-7000 dims compatible mains LED lamps; its ON/OFF output only switches a suitable LED power supply on and off.

The supplier confirms that SOL-LED can operate standard commercial two-wire LED bars at 12V or 24V when they match its dimming system. SOL-LED’s LED dimming outputs are not intended for fluorescent/UVB tubes. SOL-7000 can switch suitable fluorescent/UVB fittings through its separate neon ON/OFF outlet. A “dimmable” label alone does not guarantee compatibility. The controller, voltage, wiring and dimming method must match. Already have lights in your bird room? Send us the model and a photo of the LED and power-supply labels before ordering. We will check compatibility with the supplier before recommending a controller.

Can I run fluorescent, UVB and LED lighting together?
SOL-7000 can run an approved dimmable LED lamp alongside suitable fluorescent fittings in Lamp(ON)+Neon mode. The LED brightens and fades; the fluorescent circuit switches on and off. Nicola at Season Generator has confirmed that suitable fluorescent/UVB fittings connect to the neon ON/OFF outlet. They switch on when the sunrise transition reaches maximum light and switch off as the light falls during sunset. The fluorescent/UVB tubes are switched on and off, not dimmed.
Will any dimmable LED work?
No. The dimmable label alone is not enough. SOL-7000 requires a lamp compatible with its dimming method and lamp profile. SOL-LED and SOL-LED Plus require matching low-voltage LEDs, wiring and electrical ratings. Send us the exact light and driver model before ordering.
Is UVB lighting supported?
Yes, for suitable fluorescent UVB fittings using SOL-7000’s neon ON/OFF outlet, as confirmed by the supplier. The tubes switch on at maximum daytime light and off as the light falls during sunset. This does not dim the UVB tubes. The fitting, ballast and total load must match the controller’s ratings.
Can it dim 12V or 24V LED bars?
SOL-7000 can switch a compatible LED power supply on and off. For gradual dimming of low-voltage LED bars, choose a matching SOL-LED or SOL-LED Plus system.
Does it control room temperature?
SOL-7000 controls lighting, not temperature. Use a separate thermostat or environmental controller for heating and cooling.
Fittings, ballasts and the total load must match the controller’s ratings. Have mains connections checked by a qualified installer.
