Product details

• Seachem Flourish Excel – Aquarium Plant Carbon Supplement Malta Seachem Flourish Excel is a source of bioavailable organic carbon for planted aquariums.
• Available in Malta from BirdsMalta, Seachem Flourish Excel supports healthy aquatic plant growth by providing an alternative carbon source that plants can easily use during photosynthesis. All aquatic plants require carbon to grow.
• This is normally supplied through CO₂ injection, but plants can also obtain carbon from simple organic compounds. Seachem Flourish Excel provides these compounds, allowing plants to grow even without a CO₂ system.
• Flourish Excel can be used as an alternative to CO₂ injection or together with a CO₂ system to improve plant growth and overall aquarium health. This is particularly useful in situations where adding more CO₂ could cause dangerously low pH levels in the aquarium.
• Seachem Flourish Excel also helps promote the ferrous form of iron (Fe²⁺), which is more easily absorbed by aquarium plants than ferric iron (Fe³⁺), improving nutrient availability.
• By supplying organic carbon compounds similar to natural photosynthetic intermediates, Seachem Flourish Excel allows plants to bypass the need for dissolved CO₂ and continue producing the carbon chains required for growth.
• Seachem Flourish Excel planted aquarium supplement is trusted by aquarists worldwide and is available with fast delivery across Malta and Gozo from BirdsMalta.
• Seachem Flourish Excel Bioavailable organic carbon source for planted aquariums Can be used instead of CO₂ injection or together with it Supports healthy aquatic plant growth Helps introduce compounds used in photosynthesis Application of Seachem Flourish Excel On initial use or after a major water change (more than 40%), use 1 capful (5 mL) for every 40 liters of aquarium water.
• After the initial dose, use 1 capful (5 mL) for every 200 liters daily or every other day. For smaller aquariums, each cap thread is approximately 1 mL for easier dosing.
