Many small parrots, such as cockatiels, parakeets, and parrotlets, are ground feeders. That means a good amount of their daily food consists of seeds. Many of the seeds they eat in the wild are germinated. When seeds germinate (soak up/absorb humidity), they get ready to provide the necessary boost of nutrition for a plant to develop and grow. Napoleon's Seed Mix is perfect for smaller parrots like cockatiels, parrotlets, conures, quakers, lovebirds and parakeets (budgies). Feed it to your bird dry or soak 8-10 hours. Ingredients: Organic Oat Groats, Organic Millet, Organic Flax Seeds, Organic Sesame Seeds and Organic Buckwheat. Guaranteed Analysis: Crude Protein min 12.9%, Crude Fiber max 0.4%, Crude Fat min 9.0%, Moisture max 6.0%. Directions: Feed the seed mix dry to your bird, OR, soak one part TOP's Napoleon's Seed Mix in three parts of room temperature water for between 8 and 12 hours. You can also add a few drops of apple cider vinegar to the soaking water for extra cleaning strength. After soaking, drain and rinse with water and feed to your parrot. Once opened for daily use, reseal in original or similar container and use within 10-12 weeks. Seed can be frozen to extend shelf life.
